| No, we're not dead here...well, we might be dead, but the corpse refuses to stay still ;) We've continued to keep this library updated as new fanfictions slowly come out. Just a reminder that if you do know of a fanfiction that you think should be up here, put it up! And by all means, please encourage your fellow writers to put their works, old, new, and ancient, up.

| Importing Ghost fiction |
| Hey everyone. As Maedhros said, we're co-admins of this site as well as the Mechnexus now, so we are making some updates in preparation for the eventual release of the Starsiege 2845 ATR. I've begun importing a selection of stories by the Ghosts of the Antipode, with their permission. Although they are strictly non-canon, the stories are quite good. | It's no lie, my name is Mendacity and I'm the new site moderator. I hope you all enjoy my stay, and if you have any questions or comments please feel free to message me about them or post a note to me in the forums.

| Updates |
Seeing as how we are going to be releasing the story teaser and first part of the timeline soon, I'm going to be doing some spring cleaning updates to this site over the next week or so. Mostly just maintenance, some of the links and graphics need fixing to point to the new site, those sorts of things.

| Updates, mmm |
| Been quite a while since my last update, nearly a month. As usual, Starsiege and Tribes era fiction is in a lull, but that didn't stop Plague, Super Money and Sleeve from writing some very good material in the Fiction forums. I adivse all you shaves and chaves to read them now.
I'll be updating this site more regularly now, and hopefully try my best at extracting some SS:2845 story info from the devs at the next dev chat, August 27th.

| For my first news story of the week, I'd like to personally thank the authors at Tribesroleplayers.com for their in depth knowledge and useful information and packets at the site. If you need information on the Tribes era, I recommend you investigate their site.
Secondly, we have some great stories posted by Kore and the SSWC, a series of stories by different authors that never fails to impress.

| Site adverts and first moderator |
First, I'd like to welcome our first Moderator for the site. He's a gent that goes by the alias Kaclain, and he's already submitted some fiction. Don't have room to reprint his literary history, suffice it to say he's qualified for the job.

| Open for business |
I am going to go ahead and "officially" announce and open the site for business this coming Friday (7/25). There are a few things left to be done but by and large the site is functional and ready to accept submissions.
Over the next few days I will be adding some links to various writing guides and finishing cleaning up various odds and ends that need to be taken care of. I will also be appointing several moderators to oversee this site, so if you are interested in being one please email me at the address listed in the previous news post.
Lastly, I have added a new Fanfic forum on the SS:2845 boards for random discussion pertaining to literary issues. You may get to it via the Forums button above. |

| Welcome to the SS:2845 Fanfic site |
As you can see the site is still under construction, and has been designed to integrate with the theme from the main project site. We are providing this online database for writers of fiction set in any of the time periods of the Starsiege Universe of games. It's purpose is to spur interest in the series and allow budding scribes to easily catalog and display their literary works for the masses.
As I myself am not a literary sort, if anyone knows of any "must have" content that should be here on the site, please let me know by emailing me at trajan@mechnex.net |
